Do I need a smartphone?
No. Any phone that can get picture messages (MMS) works. That includes most flip phones and basic phones.
Will you read my email?
We never connect to your inbox. We only handle the emails you send to your TxtPing address, and only to turn them into texts for you. When you send an email by text, we only send what you wrote.
Can I send emails by text?
Soon. You will be able to reply to an email, or write a new one, by sending a text. The email goes out from your TxtPing address.
What are text commands?
Short words you text us to get something done, like BUDGET for your budget, TRACK for a package, or ORDER to place a grocery order. They are coming soon, and only work after you sign up.
Are links in my emails included?
No. For your safety, we remove links from forwarded emails. You still get the words and the photos.
How many texts will I get?
One for each email you forward, plus any features you turn on, and a few account texts like your welcome text and sign-in codes. Message frequency varies.
What does it cost?
Plans are coming soon, and early access is free to join. Your phone company's message and data rates may apply.
How do I stop the texts?
Reply STOP to any text from us. You can also send us a message. We stop right away.
Do you sell or share my phone number?
No. We never sell your phone number, and we never share it or your text sign-up with anyone for marketing. Read our Privacy Policy.
Can I send texts to other people's phones?
No. TxtPing only texts the phone number you confirmed as your own.
